Linked to the mainland by a spectacular bridge, Penang is one of Malaysia's most popular holiday destinations. As the first British trading post in the Far East, the colonial influence can still be seen in Georgetown, the main town on the island. Penang, facing the Straits of Malacca, has wonderful beach resorts, one of which is Tanjung Bungah, where you will find the Paradise Sandy Bay Hotel. Other attractions include a funicular railway up Penang Hill, the Botanic Gardens, the Snake Temple, the Butterfly Farm and local shopping.

Paradise Sandy Bay is the perfect destination for water sports enthusiasts and sun worshippers. Guests can sail a catamaran, jet ski, wind surf, snorkel, parasail or just take a dip in the pool - or simply relax and enjoy.

Building Work
Please note that the property next to Paradise Sandy Beach Resort has started renovation works. There is no heavy piling work, so noise will be minimal. The work will take place daily from 9am-5pm and is anticipated to be complete by April 2009.
